A Tough One
January 1, 2020, we were very happy to open a new year, many kids are jumping, and rejoicing everywhere and a lot of us are very excited for new chapter in our lives. But COVID-19 showed up that we didn’t expect to come. Many countries closed down its borders and implemented strict protocols in order for the virus to stop spreading. The virus closed down many schools, businesses, and also lives. As the pandemic continues to hurt many lives, a lot of us are still trying to recover from this pandemic. Our lives can be shut down by the pandemic but we are fighters, fighting for our lives and fighting for a COVID-19 world.
All
of the countries in the world have been affected by this pandemic, including
the Philippines. Our government did the necessary things just to prevent the
spread of the virus, but for me they take things so slowly. They did implement
lockdowns, wearing of facemask and many more, but for me they could do it
before the virus actually spreads in our country. The government’s response to
the virus is very slow to the point that during the community lockdowns, cases
still rises. Not like the other countries, they have contained the virus
already. I want to add that the government choose to give more funds to the
polices and other projects rather than giving more funds for our healthcare. I
also want to add the wrongdoings of the people; we must follow all the
protocols for us to finally end this pandemic. In this fight against the virus,
we must learn how to speak and to tell what we really want. As we fight for the
COVID-19 pandemic, we must be resilient, we must fight back and be a tougher
version for our self and for our country. The war between this virus can be
very destructive and deadly but with unity, and discipline in our community we
can, we can finally put an end to this pandemic.
We can achieve a more resilient Philippines if we have unity and discipline in our self, and in the community. Having and improving discipline in our self can make a big impact in our situation today. Like discipline in our self we also must have to carry the unity in our community, for us to move forward and defeat the virus having the unity with us can and within the community can show that we really are resilient. Always remember that this pandemic isn’t just the problem of the government but also our problem. We can achieve the covid-free world if we do the things that can benefit us, We must do our part to finally end this pandemic once and for all.

ReplyDeleteI agree. The Philippines is not ready for this virus that's why they are a lot of Filipinos who suffered and died. The government must recalibrate their plans and actions against this COVID-19 pandemic.
ReplyDeleteLike the other comments, I definitely agree with what you've said. I agree that the yes government responded to the situation, and that us normal citizens still need to have discipline within ourselves and unity in our country. Keep safe.
ReplyDeleteI truly empathize with everything you have said. Everything was clearly elaborated and nobody could have said better
