The Spirit of Christmas amidst the Pandemic

As we near the Christmas 2021, we can already feel the cold breeze that signifies the near celebration is coming. As the pandemic shatters almost all of public places, our churches, tourist spots, and also theme parks have closed. We experienced our first pandemic Christmas in 2020, and as we celebrate it this 2021, we can all say that, everything is much better without the virus or the pandemic.

The Christmas season is already coming in, and as we are recovering from this pandemic, we really love to see a normal type of Christmas. The Christmas here in our country is a very meaningful celebration, it is where we bond with each other, we have reunions, and also where we see that we care for each other. When the pandemic strike us, we were wishing that the virus will be gone before December for us to enjoy the celebration and meet up without love ones. As everything is going back to normal, we see great changes in our world. Now that we are approaching a very grand celebration, we must always thank our Lord for guiding us through tough times and reaching this stage of our lives.

Christmas season can really be a sweater season, a joyful season, giving presents and many more. But we cannot change the fact that Christmas season is the best season every year. Now that everything is going back to normal, we must appreciate every single second of this beautiful journey that we are about to experiences. Always be joyful this coming Christmas and always remember that the spirit of Christmas is about being happy.

  1. we may not be able to celebrate this holiday that much with our family that lives from afar, but the happiness and love that they have for each member is what matters the most. Merry Christmas!
