Adopt Green and be Clean

 


Environmental issues are now rampant in our world today. Environmental problem are being experienced nowadays. Pollution, Global Warming, and many more, has a bad effect to our lives. Solutions have been made to end environmental problems, one of those are teaching proper waste management. Proper waste management is where you properly segregate your trash or waste, by using the 5R’s (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Restore and Repair) this system aims to lessen the waste that a human can commit a day, and to utilize the waste that is being disposed every day. It is a very complex strategy that everyone can adopt and should adopt.



            “We’ve been trying to warn you guys for so many decades that we’re heading towards a catastrophe, and we’ve been being ignored,” This is what a NASA scientist says about our environment, Peter Kalmus a scientist, he was interviewed during the scientist protest in order to save our nature from dying in the United States. Waste can come from any source, homes, industries or factories, animal-agricultural waste and many more. Disposal and Utilization of this waste must be given much attention. Others are placing or throwing their waste here and there, others do put their garbage in a trashcan but it is in a trashcan that isn’t appropriate. There are many solutions to end improper waste management. First we should educate ourselves on how to do proper waste management, later on we also must bring awareness and educate other people on what is waste management is all about. Second, we must follow the 5R’s, Third Put your waste in the right trashcan (Biodegradable, Non-biodegradable, Hazardous and Recyclable). Finally we should let other people know the impact of improper waste management to our community, and environment. Applying these solutions even if it is simple can mean a lot to our mother earth. Our micro effects will have a macro effect. Solving environmental issues can have a huge impact to our lives.



            One of our duties as a citizen is to keep our environment clean and beautiful because it has been given to us. Our nature mustn’t be abused, and we should treat it with respect. The real problem with environmental issues is only us, because we keep on destroying our nature. We must be responsible in using our environment, Practicing proper waste management is just one way out of the many things we can do to make our future clean and green, and to make our environment colorful and beautiful.

  We start our year with a bang. Fireworks are blasting in our skies, people are cheering “Happy New Year” some are jumping, and some are praying to give us a beautiful year. As we grow older, we change. Just like our environment, it also changes. As time passes by our environment slowly degrades, we can see this before the pandemic. Before the pandemic people are littering, burning plastics, not following the proper waste segregation, and many more. As we went on lockdown, we have to stay in our homes, which resulted in the healing of our earth. Due to the lockdown we experiences some news that our earth is slowly going back to its original form, and being clean and green again.
