                                     Here in the Philippines, we celebrate different festivals. Provinces, cities, municipalities have different types of festival. Vigan City holds many festivals, in particular Vigan City holds the Binatbatan Festival. According to the web page of Vigan City, Binatbatan Festival is connected to Vigan’s Abel Iloco craft. The festival has a weeklong full of fun festivities, which includes both religious and secular festivities. Binatbatan festival also includes street dancing, and it is usually held during the first week of May. One Last Quarter

  Another Quarter done! One last quarter before we enter the senior high school life. It feels like the first week of quarter 3 was yesterday. Truly, time flies so fast! This quarter is different but differently fun than the last two quarters. A rollercoaster ride during the weeks of 3 rd quarter is one of the best memories of my grade 10 life. Although our subject is quite tricky to understand, it was fun answering modules this quarter.             In this quarter, TLE-ICT talks about community based research. Community based research (CBR) is a methodological practice that places community partnerships at the forefront.                The challenges brought by the pandemic is inevitable, especially to the young ones. COVID-19 is a threat mostly to children, teens, and senior citizens. Children and teens have to face the protocols given by our government, such as being in their homes until the virus is contained, no physical interactions. With that said, children and teens cannot go to schools, cannot play with their friends, and many more. However, as our government continues to vaccinate its fellow citizens, scientist and researchers are now happy to announce that COVID-19 vaccines are already approved to be at used for children and teens.         Araw ng Kagitingan, Day of Valor an act of bravery in our country. We celebrate it during April 9. Many Filipinos still does not have the courage to speak up and defend our beloved country. Our country is one of the affected countries by the Second World War lasting for six years. Many Filipinos fought for their lives, and for the betterment of our country. One act of bravery is during the Fall of Bataan and the battle in Corregidor. Semana Santa; Lent Season

               Lenten season is a traditional season wherein Catholics practiced during this time. It is a season where we honor the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. Lent is done by fasting, and it usually begins on Ash Wednesday and it ends on Easter Sunday. Lenten season is where we repent for our sins, reflect on our doings, and give thanks to our Lord. During this season, we offer ourselves to God and pray for everything he has done for us. Before the pandemic it is a feast where all of us are together to celebrate this kind of season.             Before the pandemic, Lenten season is full of activities. Lent Seasons starts at Ash Wednesday, and we end it on the Easter Sunday.   Ilocos Sur a province located in the northern part of the Philippines. It comprises of 32 municipalities and 2 cities. Ilocos Sur became a province since in 1818. The reason why we have the festival so called “Kannawidan” is that we commemorate the separation of two Ilocos provinces. The season where we start the festival is very joyful and full of excitement. Kannawidan Festival is an annual festival, which is placed to start every end of January. A festival were its celebrated with joy, and a festival full of colors and wonders.             During this festival, it usually celebrated in 2 weeks. Before the pandemic we usually have a food fair, and trade fair where different provinces comes to the kannawidan grounds and try to sell there very own delicacies or products.
